The Flight

I flew into Kenya on Kenya Airways, which departs from JFK. The round-trip ticket costs around $1,200, and the flight takes 12-13 hours. It takes you across the ocean to the Morocco area and then down the continent of Africa until you get to Nairobi. This flight offered traditional Kenyan food and had TVs on the back of seats with a good range of movies. However, there was no internet on the flight, and my TV did not work on the way back, so I would recommend downloading movies for the flight.

What to Pack

Staying in Kenya for a month, on a continent I had never been to, I had ZERO idea of what to pack. There are some cultural differences in clothing and it is important to acknowledge that when visiting a new place. That being said, click here to see everything I packed for my trip!
